Storage

Sociedad Portuaria Michellmar S.A., has a storage capacity of solid bulks (coal) of approximately 40,000 tons for yards 1 and 2. For liquid bulks (fuels) it has a storage capacity of 4000 Bls.

Adjacent to the dock is the port operations area, where the equipment for the receipt and storage of coal is located, as well as for the enlistment and loading of the ships.

SPMM has storage services for liquid petroleum-derived fuels interconnected with the company Promin Ltda, through its storage plant duly authorized by the Ministry of Mines and Energy and certified in accordance by the company Bureau Veritas. The supply plant has tanks for the storage of Extra Motor Gasoline, Regular Motor Gasoline, Biodiesel, Industrialized Oils, Marine Diesel, Ethanol and Naphtha.
